How to support the translations
Translation Fund
The Translation Fund was started by William MacDonald and was designed to support the translation, publication and circulation of his books. In some countries missionaries or the publishers have used their own funds to pay for the translations and publications. Some times this was not possible and we were glad to help from Translation Fund.
Funds have been used to support the translation of the New Testament part of the Believers Bible Commentary into 21 major languages. Some of these are: Albanian, Arabic, Bulgarian, Burmese, Chinese (two editions – Simple and Classic), Croatian, French, German, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Malayalam, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.
In 8 of these languages the Old Testament has also been published. At present work is being done in 10 further languages an the NT, and in 8 languages on the OT. Most of this work is supported from the Translation Fund.
Then the Translation Fund is also used to translate the publish other books by William MacDonald. Recently True Discipleship was translated into three languages of Burma.
