Prayer requests concerning the translastion and publication of books by William „Bill“ MacDonald

Translation Work of Bill`s books:
Praise the Lord about continued interest to translate Bill`s books into various languages. Two publishers from India are interested to take on some titles and we pray for the Lord`s guidance concerning these translation projects.
Bill was very enthusiastic about the translation of his commentary into Hebrew and Greek.
Hebrew: We are looking to the Lord for guidance. We would need some able translators to get started.
Greek: Praise: The translation of the NT is finished in record time and will be published in the beginning of this year. Pray that the Lord will use it and that it will be spread. There are very few beleivers in Greece.
Portuguese: This is the biggest project which we have right now. Praise: The translation is finished and we have found a good publisher in Brazil. Pray that they will be able to edit the and that the product will be of good quality and that it will be published soon. Believers in Brazil and Angola are waiting for it. The plan is to print the NT by September, and the OT in 2009.
Russian: The translation of the OT is finished and needs some editorial work. This is going vey slow. Pray that this can be finished soon and that the Russian OT can be published this year.
Indonesian. It was neccessary to hand over the translation to a new team. Pray that they will make good headway and that the NT can be published this year.
Nepali: The translator in Nepal is very sick and the translation is going slow. Please pray for him.
Bulgarian: praise that the OT translation was finished and that it can be published in February.
Malayalam (India): The OT translation is almost done and the plan is to publish in May.
Albanian: Praise that the whole NT and OT is published now and is being spread in Albania.
Arabic: We want to start with the translation of the OT, and we want to make the NT available on the internet. This is important since in many muslim countries people cannot get the books.
Iran: Praise: The NT translation is finished and already available on the web. The OT translation shall start this year.
Chinese: There are new printruns of the BBC in China again and again.
French: The OT translation is about 95% done. Pray that it can be finished soon.
Hungarian: The translators work on the OT and plan to publish in the end of 2009.
Italian: Praise that the NT is translated and it will be published in May. We seek the Lords will about the OT.
Japanese. The publisher wants to print the third volume of the NT this year. Pray that it will spread in Japan. Pray also for progress of the OT translation.
Telugu: Last Saturday I was told that the Telugu translation is almost finished. Praise God!
Tamil and Tajik: translators are working , pray for the Lord`s help.
